Bill Lehr, L.Ac. - Aiki Acupuncture

As a practitioner, Bill wants you to be very comfortable while in his care. The profound stress relief and relaxation you feel with acupuncture is surprising to some of his clients who often initially come in to address pain or some other pressing complaint. He is committed to providing top quality health care and assisting patients in optimizing their health and well-being.

His training started in the mid-90s in Japan, where he lived for 10 years, as a student of Shiatsu (Japanese acupressure). He graduated from the Eastern School of Acupuncture in Montclair, NJ. While he is strongly influenced by the very sophisticated Japanese acupuncture ideas, he also uses Traditional Chinese (TCM), Medical Acupuncture, and Balance Method strategies. Cupping, moxibustion and electro-acupuncture are all techniques he often applies. Bill graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987.

Bill is also very interested in the health benefits of Asian movement and meditation systems such as Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Aikido. He earned a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido in Kyoto, Japan in 1999.
